Camphill Values in Practice
Camphill Values in Practice, is a training course for all people working in Camphill Communities or similar organisations. It is open to all who have been in Camphill or similar organisations for at least one year and who want to carry this way of working with people with additional support needs into the future.
What the CViP Training course offers.
The aim is to explore the Camphill ethos, values and philosophy in order to inspire and develop a practice based on the conviction of the spiritual integrity and dignity of each human being whilst supporting each individual to develop their full potential and lead a meaningful life.
Participants will be asked to reflect on and give evidence of their learning from the course, using a range of tools, such as videos, diaries, artistic presentation, or essays.

“My practice is a lot more informed. I found the course very educational and a worthwhile endeavour. I’m sure that I will continue to develop what I have learned.”
-
“The mix of lecture and group work, learning from people in other communities, time for personal reflection and then discussions back in my own community in small group tutorials worked really well. I use ideas from theory and from fellow participants daily and it has enriched my life and my work practice.”

“The CViP course has really helped me to gain a deeper understanding of the Camphill philosophy and through that, my place within it. I gained insight into my own work practice and felt inspired by others to grow and develop as part of a larger interconnected movement.”
